The two leaders of America, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris debated recently. The conversation showed a clear divide between the candidates. Kamala Harris‘s positivity presented herself, defining her character, her achievements, and her planning for the future. She tries to show that no matter in what condition the country is. America must move away from the negative politics of recent years. On the other hand, Donald Trump expressed the dark picture of America in this debate. He called the United States a failing nation on the edge of “World War III.” He also said that rising crimes and immigrants are supposedly taking over towns and harming Americans.

Not every plan of Harris is indeed true. But she smartly managed to outshine Trump by clearly explaining why his idea would not prove beneficial for America. By following the Trump policies the chances of increasing inflation rise due to his strategy on tariffs. He claimed in the wrong way that foreign nations pay off these tariffs. Well, there is no fact in it.

Even though President Biden has kept some of Trump’s tariffs, it doesn’t mean they were effective or that increasing them would help. Harris’s criticism of Trump’s economic plans is a positive sign for more sensible policies.

What points were made by Ms. Harris?

Ms. Harris made many realistic points regarding the housing scheme. He discussed her plan about lowering the house price and increasing the number of houses. She talked about working with private developers as the best long-term solution to high home prices. She mentioned this again and again, expressing her commitment to the idea. While Donald Trump did not mention any such housing scheme that proves beneficial for Americans.

On the topic of abortion, Ms. Harris spoke with both detail and compassion. She also talked about young girls and women who struggle with miscarriages. Harris also said that she deeply understands all of these issues. Furthermore, her opinion on immigration was moderate. She also supported a bipartisan Senate bill that would have improved border security, but Mr. Trump and his allies blocked it. In the Gaza conflict, she also balanced her views and criticized the violence from both sides, Hamas and Israeli forces. She also discussed the Ukraine war and showed great support for Ukraine and democratic values worldwide.

Mr. Trump, however, mentioned his endorsement of Hungarian leader Viktor Orban, which isn’t a strong endorsement. Although he made some good points about his COVID-19 response, they were mixed with falsehoods and inconsistencies, especially on issues like abortion.

The remarks of former president Donald Trump are quite alarming. At first, he made bizarre claims about things like “executions after birth” and people from “insane asylums” coming into the country. Furthermore, his recent statement about immigrants eating pets from citizens is also very concerning. When asked to provide evidence then he was silent.

He also made strange accusations about Ms. Harris, saying she was once “not Black.”

Additionally, he misled people about the Affordable Care Act, claiming he “saved” it when he tried to get rid of it. When asked about a replacement plan, he only gave vague ideas.

The debate on Tuesday night showed Mr. Trump’s erratic behavior, which is important because it reflects how he might handle policies. His statements suggest a troubling trend: blaming immigrants for violence and increasing tariffs based on misguided ideas. This kind of behavior highlights why his approach to leadership could be very problematic.

Americans need to notice each point of the debate. Ms. Harris stood out because she had a different opinion compared to Trump and Biden. Instead of discussing the past complexities, she emphasized on looking forward and making plans that prove beneficial for Americans. She also uses the country’s core values as a guide.

While her hopeful words need to be turned into real policies, they are more uplifting about the country’s future than Mr. Trump’s negative comments.
