Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention. In her speech, she showed that she is a practical leader who always wants to unite the citizens of her nation. She also said that the former President Donald Trump will not be a good choice for Americans. Also this person is an American democracy.

The duration of her speech is 40 minutes.

And in all this period she continuously addressed Donald Trump. She talked about his actions that could hurt the important issues such as  healthcare, international relations, and immigration. According to her, this election is the opportunity to correct the past mistakes and also work together as a one nation.

Speaking to her supporters in Chicago, Harris acknowledged that her candidacy was unexpected but shared how she has always faced challenges, inspired by her Indian immigrant mother.

Harris did not pay attention to it. But her nomination is historic. She is the first woman from South Asia nominated by the majority party. If this woman wins, then definitely she would change the future of the United States and work in favor of this nation.

Ms. Harris did not really say that his era of presidency would be different from Joe Biden. Biden, now 81, ran for president by opposing his party’s move to the left and later chose Harris as his running mate. He promised to make the situation better by uniting the divided country. He also made a promise to improve the nation’s economy by improving technology and retraining workers.

Recently she talked about housing policies the same as Joe Biden. There is no difference in the policy but in the candidate. Kamala Harris is the 59 year old lady, who was warmly welcomed as she promised to push her party forward.

Harris knew the importance of her speech. This is because many people only know her as the vice president who stepped in after Biden had a tough debate. In her speech she doesn’t represent herself as a Vice President but a strong leader who values alliances. She does not think like Donald Trump who always took decisions that harm the American economy and also always supported dictators. Harris clearly said that she is ready to tackle different challenges and handle tough situations. She also shed light on the crisis in Gaza that hurts Biden’s popularity.

She boldly stated,

“I will not cozy up to tyrants like Kim Jong-un, who support Trump.”

Trump responded by calling her “weak and ineffective,” saying that tyrants are laughing at her.

This speech of Harris at the Democratic National Convention was very powerful, especially when she talked about the Gaza war.  Her words received loud applause, reflecting a week of protests by pro-Palestinian supporters both outside and inside the arena. She strongly opposed the October7 attack and also said that Harris and Biden were working together to stop the Gaza conflict. She also addressed the security of Israel’s citizens, freeing hostages and helping Palestinians gain dignity and freedom.

Harris also strongly opposed the conservative agenda of Donald Trump. She said that this agenda could result in a nationwide abortion ban and more restrictions on women’s healthcare.

She also promised to introduce new laws that protect the abortion rights and als criticized Republicans for blocking a bipartisan border security bill.

Harris pledged to create a path to citizenship and improve border security if she becomes president.

Many people support Kamala Harris, especially the young generation, black voters and women. Her speech brought new hope, with Democratic leaders including the former president of the United States, Obama. He also stands in favor of voting Hariss and giving her a chance to improve the tough situation in the Middle East.

According to Kamala Harris, “

“I will be a president who unites us around our highest aspirations.”

She also added,

“ A president who leads — and listens. Who is realistic, practical and has common sense and always fights for the American people.”
