After One Year, NYCFPA Still Demands an End To Illegal Russian Agression and War Crimes In Ukraine
NEW YORK, NY [24 FEBRUARY 2022] – On this date marking one year since the illegal Russian aggression began in Ukraine, the New York Center for Foreign Policy Affairs continues to unequivocally condemn the ongoing illegal Russian aggression in Ukraine and stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people in their defense of their sovereignty.
The Russian military’s continued incursion into Ukrainian territory is an affront to international law and a threat to regional stability. The war crimes being committed by Vladimir Putin, the Kremlin, and the Russian military must be immediately stopped. The loss of innocent lives and destruction of civilian infrastructure is unacceptable, and all parties involved must recognize their responsibility to end this senseless conflict.
NYCFPA continues to call on the international community to demand a peaceful solution to this crisis, and to put pressure on Russia to respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. The Ukrainian people have shown great strength and resilience in the face of this aggression, and they deserve our unwavering support.
Let us work together to bring an end to this conflict, and to create a future where all nations can live in peace and mutual respect.
