Recently, the subject of political analysis that focuses on U.S.-Soviet (later Russian) relations has become an established area of scientific inquiry. The goal of this research work is to reveal the similarities and differences between several U.S. presidents and Russian leaders’ public policies; specifically, their approach to each other’s countries in the context of common attributes, internal and external problems, disagreements caused by cultural differences, political structure, party affiliation, history, etc. (Goldgeier & McFaul, 2002; Majumdar, 2017; Savranskaya, & Sarotte, 2018; Rojansky, 2010).
