The ongoing Gaza war and the genocide actions of Israel are unforgettable. Israel can never refuse to take responsibility for these actions. To bring peace across the world and end the Israel and Gaza war, it is crucial to prevent Israel from its crucial actions. This is the only way to achieve freedom for Palestinians.

In previous wars, Israel has always avoided the consequences of its aggressive actions by utilizing propaganda. After every conflict, Israel supporters spread the news that Israel was the victim and suffered a lot during the war. Western media ‌painted Palestinians in a negative light. They circulate fake news through different social media platforms and movies.

Furthermore, different Western politicians always support Israel by ignoring its actions against innocent people. This makes Israel more powerful in doing the wrong actions. During the Gaza war that began in October 2023, British playwright Tom Stoppard framed it as a fight between civilization and barbarism, supporting Israel’s side. This unusual support has permitted Israel to continue its aggressive actions without caring about the results.

Israelis smartly used different strategies to make Palestinians look like the enemy. They described Palestine as a terrorist organization. Back in 2000, when former United States Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said that Palestinian actions became the cause of Israel’s destruction. This shifted the people’s focus from Israel and held responsible for every minor action. This strategy aims to show victims as an enemy.

The same type of tactics work again ‌this time. Israel used different approaches to get the sympathy of many nations, particularly countries like the United States.

The United States enacted legislation (H.R. 6408 and H.R. 9495) in November 2023 that gives the Treasury Secretary the authority to revoke tax-exempt status for groups that oppose Israel’s conduct. These rules are intended to suppress criticism and restrict conversations about what is occurring in Gaza. Despite these initiatives, the public is becoming more aware of the issue, and as more individuals voice their disapproval of Israel’s conduct, these strategies may not work.

If the laws are approved, they may declare appeals for a just US foreign policy and nonviolent demonstrations against Israeli occupation to be unlawful or possibly terrorist acts. This would be a reaction to the influence of lobbies that support Israel.

Such efforts to stifle criticism, however, are likely to fail for a number of reasons. First, because of the gravity of the situation, prominent international legal organizations like the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) are looking into Israel’s activities in Gaza. Second, the international community has already taken action to hold Israeli leaders accountable, such as obtaining an arrest warrant for former Defense Minister Gallant and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, in contrast to previous probes. It is unlikely that attempts to stifle opposition or disregard the crisis will be successful in light of these measures, which demonstrate that international efforts to address the issue are getting more serious. These efforts notwithstanding, the discussion will go on.

Different Western nations, especially the United States, are some of the strong supporters of Israel. He helped Israel in different ways, now this assistance is conducting the international laws. The great support of Western nations for Israel has lost its credibility as a neutral party. For example, the International Criminal Court warrant against Israel was denied by different nations. US President Joe Biden called this warrant “outrageous.” At the same time, France said that Israelis have immunity, so it is not part of the ICC.

It is more difficult for Israel to conceal its acts now that Palestinian journalists have revealed the reality about Gaza, despite the hostile Western media. Ordinary people are becoming more conscious of the effects of Israel’s activities, which have extended beyond academics and activists. Even the most recent US elections have been impacted by this change in consciousness. Anti-colonial movements in Africa have been rekindled by sympathy with Palestine, drawing nations like Algeria and South Africa into the international conflict. Palestine’s emancipation is gaining momentum, and while it has come at a terrible cost, history demonstrates that freedom always comes at a high cost.
